Co-op Summer Housing | Capitol College

Capitol College offers its apartment-style residence halls for summer housing for eligible residents. If you have an internship in the area or need housing for the summer, check your eligibility and send in your application today.

Summer housing is available from May 22, 2010 to August 7, 2010. All summer residents must stay a minimum of four weeks. Housing is on a first-come, first-served basis. Single rooms are limited.

Housing Eligibility

To be eligible for summer housing, you must meet one or more of the following criteria:

You are working in the area for the summer
You are taking summer classes
You are an international student
You are a Capitol College student pre-registered for fall classes

Housing Costs

Summer 2010 (rates are subject to change):

Single: $180/week
Double: $155/week

A deposit of $200 is required on or before check-in to reserve your room. You will also be required to pay your first month's rent on or before your arrival. Housing costs must be paid every two weeks.

Residence Halls

The six residential halls, which are named after scientists, are located at the entrance to the campus. Each of the 15 apartments houses six to eight students.

Each single-sex, 1,400-square-foot apartment has:

four bedrooms (two singles and two doubles)
a large shared bathroom and living room/common area
a combined living, dining, and kitchen area
available Wifi
a fully furnished kitchen including an electric range, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and disposal
air conditioning and individual climate control

Carpeted bedrooms include wardrobes, desks, chairs, beds and dressers. All rooms are wired for cable television, telephone service (two jacks) and LAN access. Residents also have access to an on-site laundry area.
