With a lovely 52-acre campus in Laurel, you can enjoy all the perks of a small suburban college — conveniently located halfway between two exciting cities: Baltimore and Washington DC. Housing

Students live in apartments from their first day on campus, which means you don't have to wait until you're an upperclassman to enjoy freedom from stuffy small traditional college rooms.

Housing Eligibility

All registered, full-time students are eligible to live in the residence facilities. Housing is single-sex and apartments accessible for people with disabilities are available. Housing assignments are on a first come first serve basis, with preference given to those who submit a housing application and have a deposit on file by May 1st.

Our Innovator's Hall was established in August 2018. This apartment style residence hall can house up to 220 students and includes a cardio room, study rooms, and a large game room on the first floor. There are 136 single bedrooms, 6 double bedrooms (12 beds) and 24 triple bedrooms (72 beds).

Each apartment has:
- one or two large shared bathrooms depending on room layout
- a combined living, dining and kitchen area
- available WiFi
- a fully furnished kitchen including an electric range, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and disposal (microwave not provided)
- air conditioning and individual climate control
Common areas and bedrooms are furnished. Each bedroom includes closets, desks, chairs, beds and dressers. All rooms feature wired and wireless Internet access, as well as cable TV. Each floor of Innovator's Hall has its own laundry room.
Summer housing within Innovator's Hall is available to Capitol students as well as non-Capitol students with local internships. We are conveniently located in between Washington D.C. and Baltimore, within close proximity to

Dining

Students at Capitol are not required to buy pricey meal plans. Instead, you'll have the choice of cooking your own meals in your apartment or having a hot meal made to order in the campus deli.

The Student Success Center

The mission of the Student Success Center at Capitol Technology University is to assist students in all programs of study, enhance their academic knowledge through interdependent learning. Students receive assistance from their peers in a fun environment, fostering personal development within a community of scholars.

You don't have to go it alone if you want good grades. The Student Success Center offers students more than one way to succeed. The Student Success Center targets notoriously difficult subjects and lends you a hand in making the grade.

A free shuttle service is provided to all Capitol students, making loops every two hours to various stops including the metro, grocery store, and local entertainment.
