Capitol College has announced that Anh Ho and Jason Brown have been awarded The Thomas Capshaw Memorial Scholarship and The Brigadier General Harold R. “Johnny” Johnson and Marcia Baciu Johnson Scholarship, respectively.

 Over the weekend, members of Capitol College’s Cyber Team competed in the DEF CON 21 CTF qualifying competition. The competition lasted for 48 hours and was set up in a “Jeopardy” style format.

Capitol College will be holding a one-week summer program, CyberSTEM, for Maryland high school students looking to learn more about the field of cybersecurity from Aug. 5 through Aug. 9.

 A team of Capitol College information assurance students finished No. 7 in the Cyber Challenge 2013 sponsored by the MITRE Corporation and the (ISC)2 Foundation this past weekend.
